About Us

Daniel Parada

Daniel began drawing and creating havoc at age 3. He perfected his craft studying visual arts at San Francisco’s School of the Arts, and spent two years at New York’s School of Visual Arts studying illustration, later dropping out for economic reasons.

No longer in college and back in San Francisco, he devoted most of his time to drawing, researching Mesoamerican culture and fleshing out the concepts that would become Zotz, a multi-arc story of epic proportions.

Artistic influences: Kentaro Miura, Akira Kurosawa, Kaoru Mori, Caravaggio, Angus McBride, Jim Morrison, and various Maya artists from the classical period.
